My friend and I stayed overnight in adjoining rooms at ALoft in Charlotte after attending a concert at the Knight Theater. We were both impressed that the theater was within easy walking distance of the hotel, and especially enjoyed viewing the art installments as we strolled to and from the theater. Accommodations at ALoft were very comfortable. Rooms were quiet and included everything you'd expect in a great hotel. I especially liked the design and layout of the room, including the bathroom, shower, and sink area, and the bed cuddled me to sleep. Staff were very cordial, welcoming, and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The front desk receptionist was very rude. We had an incident in our room from someone getting sick and left us in a room with throw up for 6 hours with no sheets! Cute property but I will never stay here again the staff is horrible!

Staff were friendly but room had no ventilation. Smelled stale and the AC unit smelled moldy. There were absolutely no vents in the room or air circulation. The rooms were carpeted and looked unsanitary. Hotel needs to be updated.
