It was way overpriced and the pictures make it look a lot nicer than what it really is. Check-in is at three but it does say you can check in early if the room is available so we attempted to check in at 2:00 and she said that the rooms had not been cleaned yet I had to come back at 3:00, the front desk staff was not very friendly and the hotel is pretty worn down, it wouldn’t have been so bad if it hadn’t been so expensive. Way overpriced for what you get.

Although the staff was very friendly, the condition of the room was horrible. It was truly disgusting (Carpet had numerous stains in addition to the bathroom being dirty and moldy). The room and hallways smelled like weed the whole time we were there. Traveling with 2 small children, this is something that concerned us but unfortunately, even after reaching out to Expedia within 10 min of arriving to all of this and them contacting the hotel directly, nothing could be done. Lesson learned, and we will not be choosing BWP again.

The carpets were worn, the bed was lumpy, ac was too noisy for my liking but usual to this type of property, breakfast was great and having the specialized coffee machine in the lobby was great, made hot chocolate, lattes etc all day/night….it is an expensive Uber ride into charlotte as well, so the location was not the best for our needs if you didn’t have a car.

We attempted check in shortly after midnight and were told they didn’t have our reservation and were sold out. We were also told it wasn’t their fault and to contact Expedia because “that’s who we did business with”. We went to the parking lot and began looking up other properties in the area (there was none). 30 mins later we got a call saying it was a mistake and that the prior staff checked us in prior to our arrival. We were then checked in around 1 am only to get to our room and have no power in the bathroom and half the bedroom. We showered in the dark and woke up to no power also.

It was an Ok stay. There was no hot water. A few of the lights in the room didn’t work. The shower water just ran all onto the floor. It was terrible, but could’ve been a lot better. And cold showers absolutely suck.
