So, I wanted to love this property way more, but I gotta be honest. The area surrounding the property needs to be cleaned up more. I saw reviews saying they felt unsafe because of the strip club across the street, but there was a fence separating them. With that being said, I still felt ok to stay on the property itself even while coming in at night. The food at the restaurant was ok. I ordered a burger that was the size of a slider but cost as much as a full sized burger. My room was clean, no roaches but there were two or three millipedes... and the AC was nice and cold. The thing is the hot water didn't work. So they had me switch out rooms... but then my room key didn't work. I had 7 different keys and they all didn't work. So I had to depend on security to open my room door.
Other than this, I had no issues... EVERYONE was nice, people that stayed at the hotel, the staff at the hotel (from front desk to housekeeping), the hotel itself and hallways had no smell like I've read about in past reviews. The hallway was really warm, though. But that's it. Personally, I'd at least give it one more try and I would recommend for anyone to try this hotel.
