The stay was okay . There wasn’t any bed bug which is what I was concerned about . But over all the hotel was dirty & hot . The ice container had dirt left around the rim of the top . There was hair left in the sheets , the tub flooded , the carpet was ripped up by the door , the door did not close all the way unless you forcibly shut it , there was dirty rags and cups left around the room , and it was HOT . Took us leaving the air conditioning on 62 just to get some type of coolness & had to use personal fan as well . The breakfast wasnt giving at all , But it was free so I guess there’s that . Over all , it’s alright for a quick night to lay your head but wouldn’t recommend for a vacation stay . We definitely will not be returning .

I have been staying here when I come to town and they literally treat you like family. I say it’s my home away from home. Very peaceful and laid back atmosphere. The breakfast is A1. Hands down the best coffee. I have No desire to lodge anywhere else when in Cornelius/Lake Norman. They are renovating the property but that’s not ever been a problem either. Try it out. They will not disappoint!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰

Wouldn’t stay here again

First room had hair all in the shower and the shower faucet continuously dripped. Furniture was splintered and pieces of wood & dust were on the floor in front. Second room they offered, both queen beds were unmade. She said the room had shown to be cleaned. Third room they upgraded us to a king suite. Bathroom floor was dirty. Carpets were somewhat dirty like not vacuumed well. Bedside lamps were very dusty. Air conditioner rattled like there was paper down in it and it didn’t cool off the room.
