Staff was great, the rest was awful. The entire place had a very noticeable and disgusting odor. The rooms had an even worse smell. Aside from being dated, the entire property, especially the rooms were in disrepair. There was the appearance of mold on the bathroom ceiling and window curtains looked soiled. I could go on and on, but I think I have explained enough.

Motel desperately needs updating. Room has mold smell from windows leaking water and causing an odor and mold along curtains and molding. Refrigerator only stayed on freezing w no dial to adjust temperature. Sink faucet was leaking as well Mold on bathroom ceiling Lighting by sink was dim. Needed major work. Would not stay at this location Mathews NC

We had 3 rooms reserved. The 1st room assigned had an EXTREMELY strong odor of Urine. We informed the desk and at first the attendant suggested some room deodorizer spray which was readily available at the check-in counter. That in itself was not a good idea. The attendant at the desk was then very polite and graciously changed the room for us. All three of the rooms were musty smelling regardless. No complaints about the staff at all she was very kind and helpful. Overall the hotel needs a renovation and the smell of cigarette smoke outside at the entrance when arriving or leaving was not pleasant. I would not recommend a stay here.

The room has musty/moldy smell! Closet made my clothes smell bad. Carpet was peeled, shower doors were damaged - no towel hanger/hook, Iron not working. The carpet in the room was not properly vacuumed. The place needs complete renovation!

Every time I come to that area which is pretty often I stay there and this time it wasn't good.I just felt like my room had a really bad smell.But it was more like water drying on carpet, smell something that the hotel of course, couldn't help and my refrigerator froze my milk and my diet cokes and made the biggest mess in there.And I couldn't get anything to work right.And the air conditioning was even off.Normally like I said, I love it there.And whenever I come back, I'll stay there again.But this time it wasn't good.I really think that it's time for that hotel to really, really check their water situation.And their air conditioning et cetera, and get some new refrigerators.
