The reason I made low stars, we have stayed there many times while visiting family, due to illness we were not able to stay last night and the management would not let us change to another day. We were surprised, will not stay again and will find a new area hotel.

Bugs

We were staying here for a cheer competition. As it was getting closer to bed around 11 myself and my daughter could feel bugs crawling on our legs I had shaken the pillows to fluff them up and noticed dead bugs fell out of all 3 pillows on our bed. I then quickly checked the other bed and pillows and didn’t find any. By the time I walked down to the front desk to notify them my daughter and her friend was ate up they had bites all over them. The lady at the front desk didn’t seem to concerned when she asked “well do you want another room” well I don’t want to sleep with bugs in my bed so yes. There wasn’t another room with 2 beds only a king with a pull out couch. We got keys for that room and was told our keys for the current room would work till I took the keys back. We checked the new room decided to switch our things to the new room and they keys didn’t work. Another trip to the desk. We finally got our things switched over then had to re shower every one but also put our things in the dryer to kill anything that could have been on them. We finally got into the bed around 1:30 and the girls had to be up at 4:30 to start getting ready for comp day. This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a choice hotel and gave to pay 130 for a night with bugs and a few hours of sleep. Ps we did figure out it was fleas and not bed bugs my daughter is highly allergic to fleas also. There was scratch marks on our original door and after my daughter taking a bath they were jump
