Nice experience. There is a sign in the parking lot to make sure your car is clear of any valuables… I'm assuming there's a reason for that. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful when needed. Location is easy to find for someone who is traveling from out of town. After checkout, I kept getting notifications from the hotel chain under the wrong first and last name, though. So that was a bit concerning/strange. I hope Nikki also enjoyed her visit.

Our room didn’t have working TV but other than that everything was fine. We weren’t in our rooms enough to use it. Property was clean and staff were kind. A lot of food options throughout the day. The hotel is about 15 minutes from uptown and about 10 minutes from 85. I’ve stayed here before when it was under a different name and not much has changed since the switch. Still a clean place to stay.

Needs Updating!

The hotel needs updating. Our room had a dirty washcloth laying on the armoire and the desk chair had burnt holes in it. The couch was dirty looking and the carpet was dirty and worn. I was expecting a nicer room after seeing the lobby but unfortunately we were disappointed and with what we paid, it should have been nicer. The gentleman who greeted us when we got there was nice but the lady who came on shift after him was not a pleasant person. So I would not stay there again.

Great accommodations as always. Very clean. Great access to multiple restaurants within walking distance and very clowe to I-85. Easy to navigate into and out of the parking lot with stoplight access if you need to make a left.

While I thoroughly appreciated the main 2 staff members at the front desk and their kindness, the hotel itself desperately needs to be better maintained and managed. The hotel does not have an actual working kitchen anymore for you to get the add on continental breakfast option and you have to pay for coffee and grab-go breakfast items from the lobby, which is certainly a first for me. The “upgraded” suite we had an awful musky smell, stains on the sofa bed, the dresser drawer in the bedroom wouldn’t stay shut and the TV in living room didn’t work. While you can tell that this hotel recently had some “lipstick” put on it, it still doesn’t justify the overall nightly price.
