The property is older but well maintained. The room was very comfortable and had all the amenities of home which I enjoyed. The only thing that was a little discouraging is some of the staff. The guy at the front desk was great. The way he welcomed me made me feel comfortable and excited to be there. However housekeeping on our check out day was extremely rude. Long story short we reserved another Hilton property but they were overbooked so they were able to switch us to this property which was suppose to have all the same amenities as the first. Little did we know that the checkout was at 11 am instead of 12 like the first property. The housekeeper came to the room to clean I explained what had happened and she told me that it wasn’t her issue which technically it wasn’t but it was her company that screwed up the reservation. It was just a very unnecessary encounter that I wished didn’t happen because I’m a huge fan of all Hilton properties but, her attitude left a bad taste in my mouth.

Nice hotel in a great non congested area of Charlotte. Check in recommended excellent restaurant nearby. For a 1 night stay i have no complaints. Would definitely stay again whrn in town.

We have stayed here numerous times over the years. It’s in a great area of Charlotte. Close to restaurants and dining. That being said, the hotel seems a bit run down for the area. It really could use a remodel. TV didn’t work on the treadmill which isn’t a huge deal considering the area is runner/walker friendly. Bed was comfortable but bathroom was dingy. There are several newer hotels in Southpark-

Great location away from city right next to major shopping areas. However, this is NOT 4 star quality hotel. The bed was clean but the room looks outdated, dirty carpet with stains, broken fire sprinkler. The kitchen has stove but they provided NO KITCHEN WARE so I guess guests are expected to travel with pots and pans. No cups nothing provided. We had to ask for toiletries none provided. The pool area was clean but the pool was dirty leaves and stains visible. I really expected a 4 star feel especially when you are charging $400/night. The two stars are for the location and the clean bed.
