Very Disappointing!
Front desk door was locked with signs asking to go to a side door. Front desk guy was friendly enough hidden behind bullet proof glass and a speaker/microphone system. Got checked in with ease and went to our room. As soon as we opened the door we were hit with a very strong chemical smell that I can only assume is what a crack house smells like. Bed was not very comfortable and looks like tub had been painted several times to cover something up. Ceiling looked like it had multiple water damage issues. At check in we were told to come down 10 minutes before we wanted to leave and the shuttle would take us to the airport. I told the front desk person we needed to leave at 4am. He said no problem. We went to where we were supposed to meet 10 minutes prior and there was no front desk person and a sign saying front desk staffed from 6am-2am. If you need assistance after 2am please go to the hotel down the street which was a 5 minute walk. After calling the phone number for the EconoLodge front desk and no answer, we walked to the hotel down the street and were told shuttle doesn’t start until 6am. All the cab companies were the same phone number and went to VM. Had to set up an Uber account to get a ride to the airport.

Checking is done through a bouth with a microphone. Does not make me feel welcomed, Room is below par : the phone is not working. Have to walk to front desk all the time. The desk chair is broken. Almost hurt myself falling of it. The staff not very knoledgeable about the area. Way below par even for an Econolodge. I have been to better ones.

I did not stay! The hotel was disgusting. The bathroom door was hanging on one hinge. There were people loitering in the parking lot. Felt completely unsafe. Desk person (behind bulletproof glass!) offered another room but I left.

Cockroach in Room
This motel is directly beside a Waffle House. Many people hanging around in the parking lot after dark. Upon entering the room we saw a cockroach crawl under the bed. Upulstered chair beside the bed was completely covered in stains on all sides. I saw so many reviews with just a "poor" review so tried it anyway...what a mistake! Do not stay at this motel. It was horrible!

I don't need much. I only asked for two pillows on check-in at 3 p.m. When they didn't arrive by 4:30 I called and the front desk said they don't have extra pillows. I was irritated and called back. The eventually said he would bring them. Never brought them.
