The area around the hotel was fine, it was close to Downtown Matthews. The hotel was easy to check-in to using the Hilton App. The room had ripped carpet right in front of the entry door. Possible tripping hazard for those using a walking assistance device. The room had an odor consistent with something being wet and souring. Since I was traveling alone, it did not bother me to the point to request a different room. Though I would have if my spouse had been with me. I most likely will not stay at this location or chain again. I usually stay at other Hilton properties (Double-Tree or Embassy Suites) with a much better experience. Based on this stay, I would not reommend this place to a friend.

Property seemed older and furniture and colors were def old style.
This site was close to where I needed to be for my class. This property looks like they are doing repairs from a water leak problem in the bathrooms. They did not take out my trash from my room, but I guess I was to ask for that. I am surprised as when I worked for the Hampton Inn that was my job. I was told to take out the trash, make the bed, and wipe down the bathroom. I did not get that service.
Not a clean hotel. No security on staff to control disturbances from other guests. We experienced loud continuous barking dogs, another guest playing loud music, all of this and a filthy room after driving 8 hours from PA to attend my mother's funeral!
The bed was very bad every time you moved a spring would stick in your body the worst stay ever,

The property is in a nice area and staff there seem professional and friendly.Breakfast had a great selection. However the rooms are dates, furniture needs to be upgraded, the bathroom had cracks and holes. The bottom of toilet is rusted. This room has a cost of $169 and is certainly not worth that much.
Mostly fine customer service. Loved bedding. Sheets crisp and comfortable. Bathroom dates. A bit dusty on dresser/tv.

Not up to Hampton Inn standards.
Shower control needed attention, shower didn't drain well, bed was worn out. 1 working ice machine for a 4 story hotel. Plenty of weed being smoked in a non-smoking hotel. Breakfast was poor for a Hampton Inn..cold powdered eggs, greasy sausage patties and cold potatoes. Outside grounds were unkept and full of trash.
