Beware of Unclean Rooms & Unprofessional MGMT
We have visited many hotels for business trips. I would say by far this is the worst Hampton Inn. First, we had to plead several times for a fridge to store medicine. A basic amentity that should be in every room. The room also lacked a microwave. Second, the room was not cleaned and felt old. I was told that since it was a 3rd party booking they cannot do anything. Third, the breakfast lacked options and some items were overcooked. Lastly, the staff was not as friendly as one would expect.

I made two reservations.. my tub wasn’t clean Upon arrival . Security woke me up at 12 am saying I called for towels when I didn’t .. the breakfast they ran out of food around 9:45 am .. the coffee in the room was horrible like really horrible .

The line to check in wrapped around the lobby and out the entrance door. We were never considered, never apologized to, and never told appreciated for staying or waiting. Very unsettling customer service. The pool was also dirty with hues of green and yellow.

The overall hotel was EXTREMELY old and NO upgrades were done. The beds were so uncomfortable, it felt like I was sleeping on a fold out couch. The drains did not drain and it took 1/2 of the day to fully empty. The bathtub was vial around the drain. We did not shower for 2 days because we did not want to catch something from the shower. The gap under the door had so much light coming in we thought a light was left on in the room. It took 2 towels to block the gap. There were so many people just hanging out around the front desk, they were so loud and it made you uncomfortable to walk thru the area. And I can go on and on……..

The staff at check in was pleasant. She did her best considering she was alone. The wait was excessive as check-ins go. We visited the restaurant and the person that was there, I cannot say that she attended to us because she certainly did not. Her attitude was atrocious. She behaved as if we bothered her when asking for basics like utensils and napkins.As we prepared to pay she told us very rudely that they were not taking cards cash only! This is something we should have been told as soon as we sat down. Her overall demeanor was as if she absolutely hated her job and did not want to be there. When I handed her my money, she literally snatched it from my hand. I looked at her and asked if she was okay..she stared at me blankly and said yeah! The entire experience was supposed to be a nice little get away and the 1st night it was just terribly negative. The room was subpar at best no trash can in our room. The television was in and out. The person at the desk initially said he would get the night man to come take a look. When we called back 30 mins later he said he didn't think there was a night man because he was told that person called out. How do you not know this information exactly? Especially if you are the only one working the desk. I did speak to the manager on duty about the issues but that was basically all I feel it was basically was just a conversation. Either way I pray that they improve the service and provide better training standards ex for employees...

Room spotless, beds comfy, bathroom spacious. Pool closed. Easy path to/from Bank of America stadium. Access from rooms to parking deck is a bit wacky, especially for those with mobility issues. But, overall lovely stay.
