Pool wasnt open like it was suppose to be. This is why we booked the hotel. Room wasnt stocked with sheets or towels and hotel was only staffed with 1 employee. Thankful only 1 night.
Room was tidy, clean and served our purpose. Only negative is supply of towels. Reservation was for 5 people, only 3 towels in room. Breakfast was fine. Would come back.
Pool wasn't open. 3rd time in a row that's happened there to me. My daughter didn't end up staying because she complained about a moldy smell. Front desk lady was very nice
Overall good. I would rate higher but for the amount I spent I’d expect more. A couple service issues that shouldn’t happen with a Hilton property or with a hotel at this price per night:
1) twice we asked to have the shampoo dispenser filled. However it never was. Not a huge issue but more of an annoyance. They also were pretty “tight” with towels. Only 1 wash cloth and it wasn’t changed out. They also didn’t change out the floor mat towel
2) bigger issue. Last morning I came down at 9:35 and the free breakfast was closed. I could see the food still there but they pulled a curtain in front. People were still eating. The food that was cooked would need to just be thrown out. I had to ask if it was closed and the answer was “closed”. Very short. I asked why since I was told it was 10:00am. The answer was “it’s not the weekend”. Again very dismissive and rude. Keep in mind we checked in Friday night and were told 10:00am. No one said “only weekends”. There was no signage in lobby or rooms saying different on weekdays. It’s a small thing, however if “free breakfast” is offered than any restrictions should be mentioned.
It was more the short, dismissive attitude of the man who clearly didn’t want to deal with a customer.

It was surprising for Hilton Hotel to be in need of such upkeep. Wallpaper was coming up. The room wasn’t cleaned in three days. There was no shampoo, but I went to ask for shampoo. The person at the front desk said there was none in the hotel, the breakfast was good. The outdoor patio was never cleaned. The pool was not open to Memorial Day, but that was not posted on the website.
Hotel was very clean and spacious.
Front desk clerk could gain a personality(Gabriella). Seemed like she didn’t want to be there at all. Not welcoming or friendly. Seemed unapproachable.
This hotel was conveniently located and parking was a breeze. The room was nice with a small kitchen area. The shower was awesome because it had great water pressure. The breakfast was very good with fresh fruit and hot eggs. We enjoyed our stay there.

Not so good.
I get it. It's an off the highway, affordable hotel that takes dogs, so I'm not expecting the Ritz. But c'mon! The TV picture and sound were breaking up, the garbage disposal did not work, linens for the convertible sofa were missing, dish washing liquid and dishwasher soap were missing, lights under the microwave did not work and the kitchen had all of two forks. All minor inconveniences for sure, but not something to look forward to after 8 hours of driving. As far a I could tell, the afternoon staff consisted of one disgruntled employee at the front desk. She did get us the missing items, but didn't seem to happy about it. The room cleanliness was adequate, but the hallways and elevator floors looked and felt unclean. We frequently use Home 2 Suites when on the road and usually find them to be a good choice - modern, clean and comfortable. This property however, felt poorly managed.
