Outside by the room entry door was very unkept. But the room was VERY clean.... pretty good stay. Too bad they are closing this location down in 2 weeks to turn into Apartments! Would’ve definitely stayed here again!
I didnt like the hill that you have to come down as soon as you turned into the hotel. Kind of scary when you are from out of town. Overall I really liked the hotel just wished that the virus didnt shut the breakfast bar down. I will be coming back there whenever I come to visit family.
This was not one of my better trips first of all for some reason there was a mistake made with my reservation I did not ask for a handicap room I was simply checking what options were available under the handicap options. On arrival, I should have requested another room. Handicap room I have ever had I might add and requiring a $100 incidental fee was outrageous and I have stayed at hotels in the area comparable to and above your hotel and they did not require anywhere near that amount,as it was, the cost of the room was already non-refundable! The lack a proper draining area in the bathroom makes it dangerous for one who is handicapped to shower in there. And because it was raining, I had the 'pleasure ' of slugs all over the floor! I had to end up asking for a complimentary toothpaste pack in which I was given exactly 1, really. The staff were friendly and helpful, though when I asked why it would take 7 days to have my $100 returned, Staff didn't know the answer. I understand that this is 3rd-party booking which I have done and usually have my account credited in 3-5 business days. I will keep check however as the room was left with no incidentals to charge for. I understand the changes with covid, still the hall we were on could have stood having someone attending vacuuming/disposing of the trash dropped in tge hallway.
I could not have been happier. You lived up to the photos posted online and everything was beautiful and clean. I will remember and return in the future when in Charlotte.

People hanging around in the parking lot right outside the rooms all night long. Very loud, cars in and out of the parking lot all night, people in the parking lot selling god only knows what? I didn't sleep at all because I felt this area was very unsafe.
Property is tired and beat-up; poorly maintained. The room/suite was okay, but it is also tired and needs refurbishing. There are a lot of hotels in the area, I'd stay somewhere else.
Great location. It’s centrally located, and it’s clean. I also left my phone there and the housekeeping turned it in. I appreciated that person for being honest.

We made a special trip Charlotte on our way to the beach to go to some of our favorite spots in town. The location was great, the room was clean, and the staff was very friendly. We will stay here again when we make it back to Charlotte.

The room was nice and comfortable and clean.
However, there was so much trash in the parking lot and a used needle.
Very friendly staff and clean room. Breakfast buffet was closed due to Covid restrictions but we were given breakfast in a bag that had a nice blueberry muffin, a granola bar, banana and a bottle of water. We made coffee in the room.
Great staff comfy beds all around a great experience shout out to the entire staff at the front desk they were awesome

This is not the first time that I have stayed at this facility. Usually my experience is a good one. From time of arrival the receptionist was a little distracted due to flooding in other areas of the lodging. I got checked in and when I got to the room dead Gnats were in the bathroom sink. I called immediately to have my room switched but there was no more rooms available. The receptionist came to the room about 10 minutes later and removed the Gnats from the sink and apologized for the inconvenience. I was not offered a portion of my monies back nor was any other offer put on the table. I was very uncomfortable most of the night.

The brown bag breakfast was the worse! They only straighten up your room if you stay 5 or more days which means you still have to do house work on your vac. Our one bedroom suite which Fit 4 ppl did not have enough utensils for 4 ppl. The room also only had enough towels for 2 ppl. They should make sure the room has enough towels for the number of guests checking in. I should not have to constantly walk all the way to another building to get extra towels. In fact since they don’t clean your room until after 5 days, extra towels should be left in your room.
