I've stayed at this Kasa twice, each for a week-long stay. First time last year was great, no complaints.
This time was last week and it was a totally different experience.
I booked my stay months in advance and requested an apt on a higher level; I was given a 1st flr unit, fine. I asked to be moved to a higher floor as soon as I checked in. Around 8p they said a unit would be ready the next day after it was cleaned.
First night was awful, the wall that the bed was against was shared w/ an entryway wall. We heard the door open/ close & people walking the hall night. We REALLY needed to transfer apts.
No communication from Kasa the next day, I sent an email in the afternoon. Several hrs and many messages later they finally said the apt was ready at 6:30p (although check in is 4pm). It took 90 more min. and countless messages for them to give me the door code to the new place.
They offered no assistance to help me move my things (even though I mentioned several times that I was there with my elderly mom who has dementia). Their instructions were often contradictory, the on-site doesnt communicate well with the off-site customer assistance and then they also send automated responses.
New place was on the 3rd floor, much smaller, was missing items (few kitchen supplies, pillows, extra lamps).
Worst of all, theres a construction site next door; building more apts. Every morning they began pounding and knocking from 7a to 6p!!
They should have told me in advance!
