This place was FILTHY. Stains on the chair. Burn marks on the counter tops from drug use. Ambulance showed up while I was there. Stayed here to be closer to Airport for early flight and was shocked at condition. Not from the area so had no idea.

The hotel seemed to be fairly clean but very old and desperately in need of restoration. The price was very good, though, and I would stay there again even though the free breakfast consisted of coffee and packaged oat meal or plain toast.

I screwed up. Found a decent priced hotel 70$ La Quinta by Windham Charlotte 28208. Im whooped from driving all day didnt check the reviews. Shot myself in the foot. Got here, tv doesn't work, all the sheets are a dingy yellow, the pillows are their own class of lumpy, the ac is beat up, I'm glad I dont have kids because i dont even want to walk on the carpet with socks on. To top it all off there's a hole in the wall. Asked about a refund and the desk and I'll head somewhere else. The workers at the front desk said its night time they cant issue one. La Quinta needs to kick them out of the family. This place is badly in need of just everything. I need to just fall asleep wake up and leave. I swear if i ever not check the reviews again it'll be a cold day in hell. Do yourself a favor and stay far away. I wish i got a 30 dollar room. Atleast I'd know what i was walking into. If my girlfriend was with me id have just ate the 70 bucks and got a different place. I wouldn't want her here. I mean im a farmer and this place gives me the ick. Is there not a level a level of atleast caring anymore? Do not get a room here. If ever there was a time i want to put no stars its here.

You will get a honest review from me. They didn’t provide the continental breakfast as said for a very understandable reason DUKE POWER gets all the food at 6am they can have it GOD BLESS those men still working in those conditions. There are still working hard, supporting the devastation in the mountains in North Carolina . Near chimney rock and the black mountain region of North Carolina. You get what you pay for. For 60$ the hotel is going to be a little louder than the Hilton in Beverly Hills. But the beds were comfortable. And they are under new management. If you expect a 5 star hotel for $60 your are not only stupid but delusional. Lol

The check in was great! Easy. Quick. Friendly attendant. The elevator may be scary to folks not accustomed to a "sketchy situation", but i didnt mind it's disrepair. Theres a certain charm to willing riding an elevator that you see screws on the ground underneath a detached handrail upon entry. The stairway has been converted (by whom, im not sure) into a bathroom/living room. Fortunately for us, we got to walk all the way down from the fourth floor. After the first time, we actually did it again, you know, to remember the experience by taking a video. So far, the water runs hot, the room is(fairly) clean, and the hotel seems to be fairly "quiet", despite it's relative proximity to the highway and restaurants. My girlfriend and i agree, solid ⭐️⭐️⭐️ experience.

The staff is very polite and hard working. This facility is under renovation, however any issues discussed with the staff is handled promptly and professionally. Rates are very affordable, restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores and pharmacies are within walking distance or a quick Uber away.

Not for.comfort.
Room was shabby. There was no TV in tbe room. It was removed. The coffee maker had no cups. There was one bath towel and one hand towel and no washcloth or floor mat in the bath. No kleenex. The fixtures in tbe tub were broken and the places where shampoo, conditioner and body wash hung on tbe wall were empty. Smelled of MJ smoke in tbe halls. I stayed because it was cheap and.I was working until late at night.
