Beware that the shuttle service has limited hours so if you fly in after 9 or so you won't get picked up. It starts about 6 in the morning.

The room was on the opposite end of the hall from the reception desk. The key would not work in the outside door near our room. We took it to the desk. We were told sometimes the key works and sometimes it doesn’t. This makes it really difficult to re-enter the bldg if you are unloading or reloading your belongings. The location of this hotel is near the airport. While we never felt in danger the area did not enable a secure feeling.

Rooms had mold on the ceilings!!!! Employees are wonderful, but the hotel is old and needs a deep clean. Had to switch rooms due to mold. But even the new room we got placed in also had some mold on the ceiling. Breakfast is terrible, not like the normal La Quinta standard.

I had to get my ro I m key rekeyed 5 days consecutively during my stay. It took me 3 days ti get my room cleaned and that was only after the very kind young lady at the front desk left notes alerting all staff! This property is in danger of being shutdown because you have an elevator inspection upcoming and YOU WILL FAIL! This property has been beyond neglected but inbspite of that, most of the front desk personnel are the glue holding this sheet of paper to the walls!!

We were traveling with our large dog. We we originally given a ground floor room which would have been very convenient for taking the dog outside. I had to go back and forth to the desk 3 or 4 times to repeatedly tell them that the door would not unlock. They finally realized the lock was broken so they moved us to a room on the 3rd floor. The elevator nearest us only went to a couple floors so we had to take the dog and all of our belongings all the way to the other end of the hotel to use the elevator that went to the 3rd floor. While our room was acceptably clean, the hotel was old and pretty worn. The carpets in the corridors were absolutely filthy and stained. About midnight I called down to the desk to report that there were little children literally screaming and screaming down the hall from us. There were loud crashing sounds as well. I was concerned that there was a fight or that the kids were alone. I was told that I'd have to go see what room the noise was coming from - otherwise there was nothing they could do. I do not recommend this hotel.

We left within minutes of getting into our room after my wife killed a cockroach on the carpet. The hotel is gross. It’s in bad shape. Not suitable for a family with young kids unless you want a rash and take home bedbugs. The hallways were filthy. Looked like vomit on the carpet. The place needs some serious maintenance. Will not be back to a La Quinta hotel anytime soon.

we were told at check-in that it was a smoke-free & pet-free hotel. We had to stuff a towel under the connecting room door because the cigarette smell was so bad. And at breakfast, we had to be mindful of the dogs while the owners got their breakfast.

Reception would not assist changing (an error in) our reservation, then sent "bouncer" to our room at 11pm, woke us, insisted on signature. Found roaches in room. Placed our 2 (family) parties on different floors and different ends of halls. (One of our party became sick the day of our departure. Unknown cause.)

Although we had a rough check in no fault of hotel we did not have a “actual bank” Debit card. They do not accept PayPal, cash App, One Bank, etc. It has to be a card from a bank you can “walk into”. Overall the stay was comfortable, locations was a way enough from heavy traffic but close enough to get to anything you wanted in uptown.

Property owners have not invested a penny back into this property. Elevator buttons do not work, if your room is on the 4th floor you have to go up to the 6th and take the stairs back down to the fourth. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was also clean. Beware of the shuttle service. I waited at the shuttle pickup station for over 45 mins and once I called the hotel they said the shuttle service stops at 9:00 pm…… So expect a $35.00 cab ride to the hotel from the airport. Good location but I would never personally stay there again. Very dated property !
