Me and my love made this places our yearly tradition. We stayed in the oldest cabin our first trip which was phenomenal and really did not leave the resort because everything from the beach and fishing was right there in walking distance this time we tried a different cabin which was cabin 4 and it left us waiting to come again even though it was not as spacious as the last one it was quite cosy and had beach view from our windows. Cabins are always clean and if your looking for a quite time away from alot of people loud music and everyday worries this is the place dor you had again a recharge thanks to long cove ...and stores are 19 mins away and restaurants 10 mins so you cant go wrong

Not as advertised.

I contacted the property repeatedly for a week with no resolution. From arrival, concerns arose—the driveway was in poor condition, setting a negative tone. Most frustratingly, we were not placed in the cabin we reserved (Cabin 19), which was advertised with a porch, deck, and lake view. Instead, we were assigned Cabin 9 without explanation, despite Cabin 19 being visibly unoccupied during our stay. Staff said they’d escalate the issue and try to move us, but no follow-up occurred. The cabin itself was in poor condition: the kitchen table was peeling, chairs were unstable, and the futon was stained, sagging, and uncomfortable. The bed had hair on the sheets, a sagging mattress without a protector, and flat pillows. Outside, the area was dirty—cigarette butts, bottle caps, and filthy chairs sitting in mud. We had no internet all weekend, and the TV didn’t work. Though we were promised maintenance, they arrived late and only replaced the TV. The internet remained broken. Across the property, conditions were poor and safety was an issue. Hammocks were fraying, the fireplace was falling apart, and trash littered the beach and walkways. A fire ant hill sat on the beach, and paths to the lake were steep, slippery, and hazardous. I tripped over exposed roots and wires near our cabin. General upkeep was lacking, with broken rails, sagging decks, and debris throughout.

A Little Disappointed

The unit was clean. "Couch" in the kitchen leaved little to be desired. We did not have an ocean view. The swimming area was small and no clean chairs unless you brought your own. Would be good for a large family or group of people as there isn't much to do while you are there. Quiet.

Nice view of lake wylie. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay there. Only 5 mins away from shopping and restaurants and about 20 mins from I77. I recommend this place when visiting the Carolinas.

The first time we stayed we absolutely loved it,the 2nd time not so good! We came for the weekend of the 4th and the unit they put us in was hot the AC wasn't working and there was never anyone in the office so we couldn't let anyone know also the kitchen and the loft was full of ants! Everywhere! We couldn't sit at the table and eat without an ant crawling on us and and our plates it was bad. I would stay again just not in that unit.

The parking space no so good for certain cabins. Then all good. The grill should be one for each cabin but may be in the future it can happen. Otherwise, everything looks so beautiful, quiet and safe. Very peacefull. I highly recomended! Specialy if you want to have a nice and relax time away with your Family.
