The property is going through a transition/renovation. The lobby is nice and welcoming. The couches in the common area were dirty. The pool was closed for maintenance, this is indicated on company’s website; however, Orbitz is deceiving as I filtered breakfast included and pool-this location populated and showed picture of pool. When you select the hotel “pool” is not listed under the amenities and this is how they justified that the pool was not available. I was disappointed as this was specifically an amenity I was looking forward to. After check-in I called Orbitz and the end result was $40.00 credit to my form of payment which I didn’t think was enough considering the circumstances. I have stayed at other properties in the same town that had better breakfast and more attention to detail. Two juice options, no hot chocolate-overall very basic. I was on the 3rd floor, the hallways were dark. The room was comfortable but definitely not reflective of the presentation in the lobby. Comfortable bed and pillows. Small towels and old bathroom/furniture. Tv and mirror in the bathroom seemed to be the only modern items. The pullout sofa bed was old and a bit dirty. There was a small fridge, microwave and coffeemaker in the room. The staff was ok, some more friendly than others. Angela at the front desk did go above and beyond in giving me a list of places to explore with my kids that had water attractions since the pool was out of order. She brought info to my room-thank you again!
