I stayed at the Woodspring Suites for 1 night as I had an early flight out of Charlotte and wanted something convenient and inexpensive. I think the hotel fits in the category of "you get what you pay for", but in a good way. The costs are cut down because there isn't a pool, breakfast, or the typical amenities you may want during a stay. For me, that was ideal as I didn't need the frills and wouldn't have had time for a breakfast. The room had anything you would need for a quick stay, was clean, and offered a full size microwave and refrigerator. I can see how an extended stay would be suited for this hotel as well. I would stay again in the future if I have another early flight. It was also an easy drive to the airport. The only thing I would change, and this likely goes back to the lack of frills, but it would be nice to have two pillows for each side of the bed.

Overall the hotel was great for the price. The floors could use washing and there are two exhaust fans in the room that ran constantly and could not be shut off. The thermostat was not user friendly.
