I definitely want to stay again at the English Inn! My room was large and clean and the property was bright and open and inviting. And they even had cookies out in the afternoon! Who could ask for anything more??

Locates conveniently near the Barracks shopping center, is surprisingly quiet given the fact that the busy intersection of Emmet and US250 is only about 100 meters away. The management make great effort to keep the property in great shale at a reasonable price to the customer. I would recommend staying there. If you don't mind a 5 minute walk, you wouldn't even need a care to get anywhere around C'ville - the bus service is excellent and free of charge.

The property was very homey and clean. The breakfast area was very large and convenient. The staff were very friendly. Loved the afternoon tea/coffee and cookies. The TV only has basic cable and the speaker was difficult to hear. Lots of road noise at night but that may have been our room location on the property. A good value for our needs.

It was noisy because of its close proximity to major highways. Also, wall AC unit is uncomfortable and loud. Could not sleep well because of loud noise from the AC unit; it was not possible to open the window because of the traffic noise. Pictures, which do not show wall AC, were a bit misleading.
