I have stayed at the English Inn for years but since the remodel it is fabulous! The rooms are clean, the shower pressure and water temperature are great. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The pool is heated and a big part of our stay. The upgrades are appreciated but so glad the original feel of the hotel is still there.

The hotel is very nice and the breakfast was awesome. The hotel is beautifully decorated for the holidays. The tea and cookies from 4-6 is wonderful and having coffee and hot water available 24/7 is a real treat. Our beds were comfortable and we had plenty of water pressure and hot water. My only con is that our check in receptionist looked sad, depressed or just plain miserable. No greeting or smile.
