From the time I pulled into the valet lane outside the hotel checkin to the check out process and review of incidentals I was thoroughly impressed. The staff was the remarkable strength of our experience at the Omni in Charlottesville, Virginia. We were first greeted by a staff member outside of valet parking (Jamell) who immediately provided us with a luggage carrier, waited patiently for us while we checked, helped us to find a room and transported our luggage to our room. The hotel manager that day (female) whose name I regretably forgot, assisted during a reservation/booking issue with the patience of a saint. Provided restaurant tips one night and called me one day when I forgot my car was parked in the loading zone. The rooms were spotless an dthe aesthetic was tasteful and consistent with the decor of the and culture of this almost historic hotel on the downtown mall. I'll be staying here often when I visit Cville. Hats off to you Omni and your well-picked staff members.

Convenient central hotel

This is a convenient hotel for central Charlottesville or if you've been visiting Monticello. Nothing special, but clean, friendly and the restaurant served decent food and beer

Came for a football game with family. Had a room that looked into atrium. Unfortunately it was a Saturday night and the live music blasted until 130am and the bar patrons whooped it up til after 2. No sleep for me:(

The hotel was very nice, nice room, nice dining/bar area. However if you just need a place to sleep don't spend the money. A room is a room is a room. We would have been just as satisfied spending half the price on a hotel outside the shopping district, the shopping district didn't live up to expectations. Lots of homeless hanging around, sad.
