the positives - The room was clean and the air conditioning worked, and there was a working ice machine. Neutral - The TV in our room did not work, I did not report it as I was really only there to sleep. Little to no staff visible during our stay Negative- The area itself seemed unsafe as individuals were walking to the edge of the parkinglot, into the trees to do drugs. Very loud as it is next to the highway.

Room was dirty and smelled like smoke, despite being a non-smoking room. The short time we spent in the room led to asthma flare-ups. Furniture was worn and falling apart. The walls themselves were dirty. Mold growing on the tub. Little tree hanging from the sink pipes in an attempt to mask the smell. Electrical boxes and wiring were not up to code per my partner who works with electrical. Poor lighting not in working condition. Despite being around other nicer hotels, definitely did not feel safe. Only good thing we can say about the hotel is how prompt they were on the refund.

The front desk guy was nice, helped out w a tv issue, twice. But the tv kept freezing while watching and the manager suggested we had to move the tv and therefore the wire connection to get the tv back to working.

The staff at the desk was extremely pleasant. The room is in decent condition. The location is convenient. However, the WIFI signal is very weak and can only be found in certain spots in the room. But for single night stays, it's adequate.

The rooms need to be up to par on cleanliness and vents in air conditioning were filthy. I had to clean my own ! And also the first initial room we were checked into was filthy. And we were checked into a room. The room was somewhat better, but my fiancé still had to clean the vents in that room and the bathroom and the floors in the room. The day before we had made a reservation and was unaware of a deposit so we had I had to cancel. They did not refund the money nor did they do anything in regards to the dirty rooms we were checked into.

There are holes in the wall. Cracked tiles. The shower is not connected to the wall. I’ve been using hotels a lot here lately and this one is trash. I will never come back. It was a waste of money and I barely paid anything to stay.

Great Value

The Econo Lodge East Ridge was a great value in a good location next to other more expensive hotels. The desk agents were friendly and helpful and the room had everything I needed. The floor was a little dirty on our first day but the cleaned it on request for our second day.
