Weekend road trip stay

Our room was clean and inviting.Room was a little small.We had a King size bed and it took up most of the space in room. But since it was just me and my husband wasn't really a issue. Had a lovely overnight stay.

Staff was excellent, but the property is undergoing renovations. The trim was off all the walls, the breakfast room wasn't completely finished, and the outdoor pool was completely closed for repairs. None of this was mentioned in the listing. We booked a king bed room and were given an accessible room which has a floor level shower that by design allows flooding onto the bathroom floor. For someone who doesn't need this type of shower it is annoying. The first bit of water that came out of the shower pipes was brown. By the time we realized all this it was so late at night, we were exhausted and we didn't want to hassle with a room change. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was decent. Location was right near the interstate which was great, and the noise wasn't too bad. This just wasn’t the Fairfield by Marriott experience we've come to expect.

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, but quite noisy. I understand why they had a maximum noise level on TV, but I couldn't hear it and I don't have bad hearing. I was awakened in the middle of the night by neighbors hitting walls and slamming doors. Some finishes in newly remodeled room were not well appointed. Over all, it was an okay stay.

This hotel is such a gem! Quiet, extremely clean. Lovely sitting area for their quite robust breakfast. Cute outdoor seating area too. It's impeccably clean, the staff is so nice. My son and I were in the middle of a fairly grueling road trip and this was a haven for us, I slept like a baby. Definitely impressed!
