I was visiting Chattanooga for the night for an event and didn’t want to spend a lot on one of the fancier hotels. This location was brand new, within walking distance to the event, conveniently located to lots of other spots and was a good price.
The hotel was immaculate. My room was extremely clean, the bed was comfortable and it was quiet. When I checked in, I was even greeted by a very friendly manager who chatted with me a bit. Checking in was quick and easy, but the staff working the front desk weren’t the most friendly or easy to understand. Not rude, just curt. And when checking out, I had to wait a bit before someone showed up, who was also rather curt.
There is no self-parking. It’s all valet parking unless you park on the street or in a paid lot (which I’ve found to be the norm for downtown Chatt). But the valet was super nice and I liked being able to pay and tip via my phone so I didn’t have to keep cash on hand.
I really liked this hotel. The little details in the rooms, the open concept lobby, the location. It’s a great spot. I walked to my event, to dinner, to a few shops and never felt uneasy. I’d definitely stay here again.
