Overall a nice place to stay. It is around 11 miles from Chattanooga downtown and right off 75. The room was clean and modern. Bathroom clean.

I would not recommend La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Chattanooga East Ridge, especially for families. During my stay, there was a noticeable amount of suspicious short-term traffic, including what appeared to be frequent one-hour room rentals. This created an unsafe and uncomfortable environment, and definitely did not feel like a family-friendly place. Safety is a top priority when traveling, and unfortunately, I did not feel that here. I will not be returning and hope management takes serious steps to address these issues.

Underperforming Hotel. Shame

The last time I went to CHATT, I wanted to stay here based on reviews, but they didn't have the room I wanted. So this time we managed to make a reservation. The price was awesome compared to others I've stayed at. However, might I say, the only good thing going for it was not having to deal with traffic around Hamilton Place area. That's it. It was a room with beds to sleep on. I won't be coming back here again. The carpets throughout were old and dirty. The room was small. too small even with double queens. The chair they had? look at the picture. Completely ripped on the seat. Ceiling was popcorn ceiling, and you could see on the far side, looked like a building joint/seam where it wanted to buldge down. Then the floor at the same spot (had to be a seam) you could tell where the joint/seam was as you could feel it raised on your feet. The door lock didn't work twice. Clerk came up thinking user error, but she almost cursed when she couldn't open it and I was right. She said they were going to renovate. That didn't help me then. twice. Breakfast? Same thing for 4 days. no variety. even had a tip jar. Better than the LQ in Hamilton though. FWIW. Even the seats in breakfast area had rips. Doors to hallways missing knobs. I think there was enough parking, just in the back, not the front. Sketch hotels behind. Would I return. no. Bathroom was decent. Only good thing I would say but I can't sit in there all day. Spouse said bed was good. One slow elevator too. Should have two.

Staff was awesome! Clean rooms just a couple of cosmetic issues. Tile grout needs replaced in the shower and a door handle needs replaced in the stairway entry door. Great experience

Went down hill fast

We stayed at this hotel in 2022 and it was fantastic! Which was why we booked this location again, however, we were extremely disappointed in how quickly the condition this hotel deteriorated within 3yrs. There were signs of an electrical fired around the outlet of the air-conditioning unit was plugged into... the room was dirty, and the breakfast was terrible. Other than it being a great location right next to the beach and restaurants and shopping, I don't think we'll stay again.

The service at the hotel was good. The room itself wasn’t as clean as I expected it to be. There was mold on the wall by the plug in for the air conditioner unit, the toilet was not clean around the rim and there were several hairs found in the bathroom around the sink.

Very nice hotel!! We stayed for one night while traveling with our two cats. We were pleasantly surprised that the hotel was so nice. It was modern, clean, had beautiful seating areas, and a very nice hot breakfast. We would definitely stay here again!!

Not "sounds of silence"

Well appointed, clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. What was unexpected was hearing people in the next room going to the bathroom - because the wall between them and me was paper thin. Pro tip: hang all of your clothes in the closet, stash your luggage in there, too, and close the closet door to muffle the sound.

I found this hotel, very clean along with friendly staff. Breakfast in the morning had a great assortment. Price was right and it was right off the highway for easy access to continue our travels thank you, La Quinta.
