This was the most miserable stay I've experienced. There was a very strong odor the permeated the room from a "plug in" air freshener that smelled like a urinal cake...the smell never decreased, even after I moved the freshener outside. I did not sleep at all due to the stench. The room did not have any amenities...no refer, no microwave, on desk nor chair. I was impossible for me to use my laptop computer in the room. The "blackout' curtains were too small for the window, and allowed the outside parking lot light to shine into the room...almost as bright as daylight. But hey, it had a nice bathtub. Definitely not work the money they charge.

We stayed for 2 nights. The room was renovated as well as bathroom. Our room was very clean. Breakfast was coffee, apples, oranges, bananas, oatmeal in packets, and fruit bars. The water pressure in the shower was just ok. But the price for 2 nights was less than 1 night at the hotels within walking distance. We were pleasantly surprised and would stay again. We arrived by noon and they let us check in early and that was also a plus. If you are a hotel breakfast fan, then this might not be for you. But if you are looking for a clean, newer hotel room at about half price of the hotel across the parking lot, than this is a winner.

No frills, no complaints.
Perfectly fine for what it is. If you need an affordable room that you don’t plan to hang out in, that’s what you’ll get. It was clean and the people at the front desk were very friendly. No frills, no complaint. We were visiting for Head of the Hooch, and the drive was very easy — about 15-20 mins.

We checked in, saw the room and facilites, and smelled a smoke-filled room and went down to cancel the reservation. The attendant made us pay the full price even though we didn't stay the night. 0/10 experience, won't be booking with Red Roof ever again! Terrible experience.

The hotel is what you would expect for the price; old building that’s been updated. Room was clean smelled of smoke or incense. Brought it to the attention of the staff, but they could do nothing about it since they had no vacancies. Other than that, everything was nice in the bed and pillows were actually comfortable.

Remodeling only goes so far...
As soon as we entered the room, we noticed it was warm, so I tuned on the AC, and it sounded like a generator running. We also found pretty fresh urine on the toilet, but i made thr mistake of wiping it off before taking a photo. There were also hairs in the bed, and the sheets had black stains on them. Worse, the aforementioned AC never cooled the room. If we didnt have fans (one that we bought that night), it would've been a miserable night at around 75-80 (it was cooler outside). The floor was also so filthy that the bottom of my foot was black. I will never stay here again!

Overnight Stopover
It was a great overnight stopover in Chattanooga on our way to Savannah, GA. Had nice neighbors to hang out with outside our room on each side. Pleasant.

Check in was easy and the staff was great. It is not a 4 star hotel but for a motel it was good. Overall it appeared clean and relatively updated. The toilet looks new but the tub/shower needs work. There was a roach on the shower curtain which made me uncomfortable so we left (honestly should have stayed bc the 2nd hotel was terrible and gave motel vibes). Staff accommodating. Additionally bring your own towels (forgot mine) as the bath towels are the size of a hand towel.

The room was very nice and had been remodeled. There was a few things that did not make sense. I loved the new lighted mirror but it was so low on the wall, you had to pull up a chair to use it. The clothes rack was placed over the fidge and microwave so your clothes could not hang straight. There was plenty of room to put it in the corner behind the bathroom door. Loved the bathroom. Our biggest problem was the Febreeze scent in the room. We had to take it out of the wall and place it under a trash can. We could still smell it. It’s a lovely thought but can cause sinus infections. Really nice staff and very clean. Enjoyed our trip.
