A classy, enjoyable hotel.

My family had a lovely visit to the Hotel Chalet. The lobby has real character and this continues in the rooms and on the grounds. We felt very comfortable and relaxed, and we loved Elsie’s Daughter, the charming restaurant as well - don’t miss the crab dip!

Great stay!

The service here is wonderful. Every employ we encountered was friendly and helpful. The hotel has been recently remodeled and is beautiful. We stayed in a train car. Very nicely decorated! As others have mentioned, the lighting is quite dim. Nice for ambiance but a bit hard to see when the sun goes down. The hotel is within walking distance to several bars and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Overall very nice stay

The hotel was beautiful and just a neat place to stay. We enjoyed the lobby and nearby restaurantss. Slightly disappointed that they didn’t have an ice machine but we were able to get ice from the cafe in the lobby. Only other disappointment was that the cardio Echelon treadmills and the machines weren’t working (wanted sign in and password) and the hotel staff did not know how to get them to work.

Nice room. Good location. TV didn't work all Saturday night. The digital picture would scramble and make an awful noise like it didn't have a good connection constantly. I would give it a 5 if the TV had worked. Seems to be a bandwidth issue.

The property is beautiful. Definitely a good value for the money. High scale definitely. I wasn't real enthusiastic about the menu in the restaurant and neither of the restaurants close by was really what we were in the mood for. I didn't like having to pay $18.00 to park. Oddly though, we would stay there again without hesitation. My best friend thought everything was superb.

Overall fine but really loud until really late

Overall the stay was fine except for the fact that there was an extreme amount of noise in the lobby until almost 11pm that we could hear in our room and kept my child and I up. I do wish they would’ve encouraged quiet hours. We were on the second floor but one of the first rooms in the hall
