Brought our 5 yr old grandson to sleep in a train. Room was hot. Said they’d send someone to check. Waited & waited. Almost missed getting to the Incline Railway by 6pm. They did let us change rooms to one that was cooling better & credited us the $18 parking fee. No free drink tho.

The room was way bigger than i expected. Loved the patio. Staff was very friendly. Parking was a bit of a challenge as it fills up fast. The lobby was absolutely beautiful. The desk help could have been a little more informative as to what they had in the lobby in the morning for purchase. All in all it was a beautiful hotel on nice grounds.

When you walk into the hotel, it’s like stepping back in time. It is so beautifully decorated from the lobby to the rooms, you expect to find a speakeasy behind one of the doors. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the easy access to downtown Chattanooga, both walking and taking the free shuttle. I don’t think there is a better place to stay in Chattanooga.

The Hotel Chalet is a delightful boutique style hotel conveniently located in the best part of Chattanooga. The room, pool, and grounds were excellent as was the service and staff. The restaurant adjacent to the hotel, Elsie’s Daughter, was also fantastic and highly recommended.
