Its very tired.in & outside the hotel. Lack of parking spaces. Very noisy doors banging all night. Bathroom doors too. Perhaps better spring hinches for a quieter close? Toilet seats too? No reception manned? Light out on entry to room. Couldn't find anyone to tell? For over £100 for single occupancy? Should of found a premier inn. On the plus. My young reception chap on check in, was very helpful and pleasant. Didn't use the leisure facilities. Just wanted to leave. The planes didn't bother me,used to living near an airport. But potential residents should be warned. Clean in room. Lovely bathroom Although didn't use shower.

Poor customer service

The room was spacious and comfortable, which I appreciated. However, there were a few issues during my stay. First, only one set of towels was provided, despite my booking being for two individuals. Additionally, I accidentally left my swimsuit in the room upon departure, and I had to call five times to follow up on my lost item. Unfortunately, I was only informed on my fifth call that my swimsuit could not be found. This experience was disappointing, and I feel the handling of my inquiry could have been more efficient.

Shower would not provide hot water in the morning, no time to complain as we had to leave soon. One of the party was accused of trying to steal breakfast, despite us paying for four when we booked. Three rooms booked, one with two breakfasts. I couldn’t get through to the employee that there were four meals ordered and paid for, but only three rooms. I had to push past and take a breakfast from the buffet, with a staff member saying “you haven’t paid”. This ruined the family breakfast we were hoping (and had paid) to enjoy.

Ramat was incredible when checking in to this hotel. Smart, professional, courteous, generous and extremely helpful. I could not have asked for a better experience. I am already thinking of staying at this hotel again and the main reason for that is the way I was treated upon arrival. Thank you Ramat. The room is also very spacious and the bathroom a treat, especially the rainfall shower.

The first night we noticed a leak at the back of the toilet and the door wasn’t locking and we had no where to hang our clothes in the bathroom as it was already damaged. The bed sheets had some stains and the room was cold. I wanted to call someone but they only had a web chat and I raised the issue and asked for it to be solved asap. The next morning we didn’t have anyone come so as I was leaving I spoke to the person at reception to say the issue. They were understanding and said that they’ll send maintenance over and I said my brother is in the room so they can knock. However my brother left after 4 and no one came still when we came the leak was still there and no changes to the bathroom. I was disappointed as the pics looked nice and I used to go to the gym there and liked it but the hotel function was very run down.

Poor cleanliness, and over-all poor stay.

A poor experience at the Village hotel, in Cheadle. The carpet by the bathroom was soaked through, and the shower completely blocked .... Which explained the soaking carpet. The blocked shower also spat out hair from the plug. I also went to the gym, to be told they had no towels and so had to use the only towel in the room, which meant it wasn't ideal for a shower, post gym and sauna .. Or the next morning. Pretty disappointed and given my experience, I wouldn't recommend anyone stay there.
