Staff was pleasant and helpful at check in. The room had a good heater. no additional blanket. no door on bathroom. Okay for us but some may want privacy. Room was clean.

The night clerk seemed like he didn't like his job, or he just wasn't a people person. Basically not friendly. The TV didn't work and my son plugged his phone in, the plug wiggled around. We were exhausted from going to my sister's funeral service, so we didn't complain that night. Also,it was hard to find with GPS. This was on 2/20/26, we checked in around 9 or 10pm. If I stay in Checotah Oklahoma again I will not stay at Walnut Inn again.

The room was o.k. Couch was VERY old - mismatched fabric where repairs had been made. electrical outlets on bathroom sink did not work. The electrical outlets were very loose - so much so I had to bend the plug tines to make it stay in the socket. Heater too a long time to warm room. No coffee pot even after I asked for it the day before we checked in. Staff seemed as though we were bothering them. won't stay there again

Made me stand outside in the cold to check in. Had a reservation. Desk clerk not very nice/good. 1 hand towel and one wash cloth 2 small, thin towels for 2 people. Garbage truck emptying dumpster a few doors down at 6:45am.

It is... what it is!

1-Floors were gritty. 2- House phone did not work at all, could not reach the front desk clerk. 3-Bathroom door was hard to shut but harder to pull open. 4- Dead bugs and lint/dirt buildup on side of bed. 5-Unappealing outside appearance.
