I have been staying here for almost seven years. It is close to the airport and inexpensive. The hotel is not fancy, but it is very clean and maintained. Rooms have been fixed and painted freshly sometime recently, so the room looked fresh. The bed was comfortable. Unfortunately the a/c that I ordered was not possible in the room I was given, but I was given a good discount to make up for that error, and the fan kept things fine overnight. The area around the hotel is somewhat messy, dusty and run down. In past, I was always asked if I wanted a meal, and an employee would go out to get one for me. This time, I wasn't asked and couldn't find a decent restaurant nearby. A few good fruit stands and Rogers Supermarket helped along with a well-stocked medical shop run by a very friendly and helpful pharmacist.
I had communicated a lot of times with the hotel informing them I will be checking in late and requesting airport pickup. The airport pickup was not there and I had to wait for about an hour and make repeated phone calls. The driver had to find out on the way in which property my room was. When I arrived at the property, they had given my room to someone else and I had to wait more than an hour for them to have the guest vacate the room and clean it. I was absolutely fed up by this time. I would like my money back for this horrible experience
This property does not even has an elevator. Dont know how travelocity has 4.1/5 ratings, It looked more like a hole in the wall.
The reception is upstairs and have to climb stairs. Hotel staff helped take luggage upstairs.
The surroundings are not safe and it is in the middle of residential neighborhood, with heavy traffic. Roads are narrow.
There were exposed electrical holes in the wall (tried two different rooms.)
There is no restaurant on the property or near. Staff helped me order food with Zomato or something.
I can hear people talking in the adjacent property or from noisy street, even when the window is closed.
Originally I signed for a 1 BR with 2 travellers. After seeing me alone, they just gave me a bedroom with a single bed. The price was not adjusted either.
