Stayed for 2 nights while skiing at Cataloochee. Room was not ready when we arrived....we were early...lol They did have it ready by the scheduled time of 3:00 pm, barely. Room was clean, with all amenities as advertised. Refrigerator does not have a freezer area. Phone did not work, but was fixed right away. Hair dryer did not work, but they brought us another right away. Reached for a Kleenex, and the chrome cover fell off. Hot tub was out of service. Never found the "designated smoking area". Was told to smoke anywhere, at least 8 feet from the building. Breakfast was good. Plenty of choices, and the dining area was kept clean between use. Staff was very personable, and willing to help as needed. Understanding this is not a 4 or 5 star facility, however, maintenance needs a little attention.

The rooms were clean, and the staff was very friendly, from the front desk to the supporting staff. The hotel was also in a great location, very close to skiing, tubing, and breakfast spots. We had a good stay.

We had a great stay. Staff were friendly and professional. Room was clean and cozy. Only hiccup we had was having to get keycard entered each day of our stay, but the staff were super nice and took care of it promptly. Would stay again.

We booked from 1/29 to 2/1. Snow was coming to Maggie Valley. So to make it home safe we spent the night and then went home. I called about a refund. They said there was no refund. I will NEVER book another stay with Travelocity or Expedia EVER again. Very disappointed!!

The staff was excellent. I had to work with them twice, once to extend my stay for another night, and once to change rooms due to needing two beds because of back pains. Both were handled quickly and with friendly service. Both rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty.
