Never again.
I've stayed at my fair share of poor motels, but this takes the cake. Our second night there, our power blew when I opened the microwave door. We walked to the office to get help, only to find out no one was there. Door locked. There is a number to call to get a hold of someone taped to the door. The number has been disconnected. There was a guy wandering around the place as well, so we talked to him. Apparently he had a room booked that night and had been there for half an hour and couldn't check in because no one was there. Mind you, this was at 6:15pm. Office hours on the door state til 9:30pm.
Eventually, he left (assuming to find a new motel for the night), and we saw a housekeeper walking outside. We asked her for help. She went and found the maintenance guy. He was incredibly nice and tried to find the issue. Even the breaker to the room didn't work. So he had the housekeeper go into the office and get us a key to a new room. The office guy never came back.
Our hot and cold water handles in the bathroom sink were switched. The bath towels were the size meant for a 5 year old, not an adult, and were horrible. Basically just smeared the water instead of absorbing it. The place is horribly old and outdated. We only had one working outlet in the room which was by the door. The floors were filthy with dirt, crumbs, debris, as if no one vacuumed.
I would never stay here again.
