I have been coming to Maggie Valley my whole life (grandfather is born and raised there) and this was probably one of my favorite rentals. Clean, great location without being too far up a mountain but still privacy for relaxation. Will be looking forward to stay here again in the future.

Never met any staff. Cabin was okay. The outside under window in kitchen needs to be repaired. Odor in cabin. Sprayed with fabreeze. Very noisy. Next to us was a bunch of people cursing and loud music.

Not exactly what was expected

The pictures and description make it seem like you are renting a "cabin", but you are not. This is a plot of land that houses about 8 or so "tiny houses" that are made to "look like" a cabin. The tiny houses are really close to each other. The blanket in the bedroom stunk bad, like damp and mold, as if somebody pulled it out of the dryer still wet and folded it up. The place was VERY hot when we arrived so we checked the AC's but there's notes all around about what to do or not do so they don't freeze up or something like that (and in this GA heat, you gotta expect people are gonna wanna use the AC full blast). Also, the soap dispenser in the bathroom only had about half an inch worth of soap in it. Overall just underwhelming.

The property is great. Rooms are clean. We stayed in a Yurt they are nice the only complaint if it’s sunny out the temp stays at 80. We will be back but stay in cabin this time.

The staff were very friendly and great with communication. It says it sleeps four but it would be very crowded with four adults. Great for two people or two people with two kids. The only issues were the internet didn’t work but we were able to get it from the neighbors. None of the tv’s worked and some of the outlets didn’t work. They did correct some of the outlets but not the tv’s. Overall a nice clean place to use as base camp while checking out the area.

Excellent place

We have stayed at this location for several years in a row now and love it every year. We’ve now tried the cabins and the yurt and they’re both great. The staff communicate really well and we will definitely continue to come here in the summer. And it’s in a great location to. Off the loud main road but right by the center of Maggie valley and just a quick drive to Cherokee or the parkway
