Best part of this stay was how close it was to the university. The staff was also very friendly. The room and cleanliness was less than desirable

Room smelled terribly musty and carpet felt wet. We had 4 people staying and only 3 pillows, two of which were small (think throw pillows). Asked the desk for pillows and they said there weren't any because the hotel was fully sold out. Had to use a rolled up blanket as a pillow. No body wash in shower dispenser. Overall, super disappointing stay.

Nice quiet area no traffic noise and even though the hotel was packed there was no noise from the rooms beside or above. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

The Microtel was convenient and well-priced, but the pullout bed had stains and cigarette burns and the room smelled like smoke even though it was a smoke-free facility. Breakfast was included and basic but decent variety. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. So good value for the cost, discount was given for the awful smoke smell and staff was very polite.

The pool was refreshing and clean. Staff was great. The humidity level was high so towels did not dry when hung up had to keep swapping them out at front desk.

My room was clean and well prepared. I had some small issues with the bench seat in the bath, it wouldn't raise up for shower use, but wasn't a big problem. Enjoyed my stay

We ended up at Holiday Inn Express. I am extremely allergic to strong odors which was in every room they took me to. Also one room had smoking odors as well. Staff were very understanding and said they would call Holiday Inn which was across the street and get a price match on the amount we were due to pay. One we got there we were charged around 300.00 more for a 3 night stay. Very disappointed with having to pay more when we were told same man owned 4 local hotels and these two were 2 of them. We should not have had to pay that difference for a clean odor free stay.

Disappointed by Room Design and Maintenance Issues

My stay was uncomfortable due to a large mirror placed behind the bed, which felt unsettling, and several unresolved maintenance issues—including a non-functional bathroom vent, slippery tub, slow-draining water, a faulty toilet flush, and an unusually low sink counter. Note: my other friends room toilet were ok.
