Dirty duvet.
We enjoyed our stay, the hotel is lovely and the staff on breakfast service were very accommodating. However, my husband had to go to reception on the first night because we spotted a dark patch through the duvet cover, on pulling the cover back there was a patch of blood bigger than my hand. The lady who came in to remove the duvet didn't apologise, she just looked embarrassed. I was uncomfortable after this and went and bought my own cover to sleep under. I know this can be seen as an over-reaction, but that's how I felt. I do have a photo, but I dont think it's family friendly. It is ashame because this is the first time in 10 years since we've been away for my birthday.

This was a lovely place. Could do with some lighting outside in the parking area as was very dark. You could also do with some more decent music in the bar area - that was a bit flat and no atmosphere. Other than that a lovely stay.

We had a 2 year old toddler the room wasn’t suitable, no other rooms available, mattress and mattress covers had disgusting stains on all covered with a nice clean white sheet. No biscuits only enough milks for one drink . Breakfast standard, disappointed in our stay.

Lovely stay and staff were friendly. We had chosen to upgrade our room the day prior to a junior suite. The junior suite was disappointing. Very bare room and was not clean. Bathroom also didn’t look clean so eventually we asked to just use the superior room which had initially been booked. The superior room was effectively a downgrade but much better than the junior suite. Overall the hotel was pretty dated, a lot needed fixing. The swimming pool area and changing rooms could also do with a big fix and clean up and would make the experience that bit better. The sauna and steam room doors were dirty and off putting. The jacuzzi had broken bits around it and the water did not look clean. The place could just do with some TLC!
