We were initially dissatisfied with our original allocated room as it was impossible to sleep for what we presumed were extractor units outside the room We requested another room which the reception member solved quickly. The second room was quiet enough.to sleep

Best hotel in Chester
2nd time staying here and it was just as good as last time. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the room is clean & cosy, beds are really comfy too and I slept like a log. As it was over Christmas they even gave me a card and chocolates which I thought was a nice touch. They have a great selection of cocktails and I ordered steak to my room which was perfect too. I used to stay at the Grovsnor when visiting Chester but this hotel is much more welcoming and I will stay here from now on.

My husband and i stayed in the grosvenor room top floor with balcony to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. Beautiful room. Clean & well presented. Staff were lovely. Quick to help when needed anything. Food in the forge was absolutely gorgeous. Overall really nice hotel to stay in.

If they have no parking maybe make a deal with someone local to contract parking and provide a valet service at a cost We drive around Chester in wind and rain looking for somewhere safe Could not download parking apps which. Implicated matters since as is internet did not work

Bed uncomfortable. Unable to open windows: stuffy. Abrupt dining room staff. Master switch in room unmarked so constantly having to flick switches or bumble in dark. Dislike smell of fried food so unable to eat £16 breakfast as kitchen on view. On day one room not serviced till 4pm.
