We Stayed at the weekend, on check in we wasn’t given the garden view room that we paid for. They had a private party at the hotel, not a problem we don’t mind music. But when other guests arrive back to their room at 1am shouting down the corridors and you can hear every word they say because the walls are paper thin! Then yes I have a problem. We hardly slept and had a long journey home the next day. At Breakfast I ordered a bacon cob when it arrived I had a sausage cob and the waitress made a scene instead of just excepting she made a mistake, so I just excepted the sausage even though it wasnt what I ordered. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again.

Beautiful location and excellent service with high quality dinner and service. The only negative aspect is the hotel was advertised as breakfast included with hotels.com and upon check in we were advised at the front desk it was room only. So rather disappointed.

I stayed for one night at Rowton Hall and had a lovely stay. The hotel itself is beautifully presented and the gardens were the icing on the cake! The room was comfortable and spacious with all the necessary amenities. The pool area is clean and has a lovely modern, spa feel. A great stay and will return!

Only recommend one night stay. Poor.

Our experience was far from satisfactory at Rowton Hall and Spa. The service was very poor, on our first morning for breakfast we were pointed to a table and told ,"Sit there". The reception staff seemed to be the only team who really cared and tried to please the customers. The wall papers were poorly hung and peeling off. The whole building was just in need of some TLC. How it has obtained 4 stars is beyond me. The food in the restaurant was miniscule. It would do at a push for one night stays. Unfortunately we were there for ten and were glad when we left.
