Used the Bowes Incline on a business trip to the area. Nice quite place out of the way Rooms very nice and new Very comfortable Evening meal there was a good selection and very nice food, likewise breakfast

What a great place to stay , you have to go down some small lane to get to it ,but with the main road (A1) running just over 50m away it was very peaceful no road noice . Check in was easy , room very clean , only problem was they are updating the room next door so heating was off but heater was in the room , also workmen didn`t start work until after 9-30 so no problems with noise . Great breakfast with loads to choice and plenty to be had , the pub food was some of the best i`ve had ( beef & ale pie ) grat price too . GREAT STAFF everyone of the team was great 11 out of 10 nothing was to much trouble for them .

Quiet. Clean. 20-30 min from Newcastle upon Tyne, and 20-30 min from Durham. Hard to find. Very high bathtub walls for those with disabilities.

This a terrific hotel in the heart of the Gateshead countryside. The staff are extremely efficient and very helpful to make stay the best experience ever. The restaurant food is of a very high standard, never a bad meal yet. The only negative is that GPS systems for one reason or another can not find location. So we eventually found that if you input North Rise, it will take right to the Bowes Incline Hotel, —- go figure ! Great stay.
