This is a beautiful hotel, lovely staff clean comfortable room. Stayed for a wedding which was just amazing. The food was really good.
Will definitely be paying another visit.

Absolutely fabulous, fantastic room, outstanding breakfast. Will definitely visit again.
We really enjoyed our stay. The only issue was the long wait every time we went to reception. The one receptionist was constantly caught up on long reservation query calls. The hotel needs to free up the receptionist to take care of exisiting guests!
We had a lovely stay and were very impressed with everything
Room was large and spotlessly clean and great walk in shower ( albeit not very powerful but did the trick ) amazing menu choice ( 50% off on the night we stayed so that was a bonus and unexpected)

We had a nice stay at Widness Inn. The staff were welcoming, warm and friendly. The total decor is good; however, a couple of things prevent me from giving this a 5-star review. My meal was not good. My dish was over-salted, almost inedible. If I had been in a different company, I would have sent it back. The people dining with me made similar negative comments about their food. The upstairs corridors to the rooms are poorly lit. At breakfast, there was only a choice of small plates as large plates had run out. It's a shame, as everything else was fine.
The property is great, but window need to be upgraded to change double glazing. It was cold this time of the year, and I wonder how it will be during the winter? I was able to sleep with the heater that was provided in the room.
The property was convenient as a base to go sightseeing, the restaurant was really easy for evening meal. The staff at reception and dining room very helpful and tried to help accommodate our requests noting one person was elderly and disabled.
I thought I had book a hotel that was accessible , I rung hotel from AU prior to arrival , The team tried to help us as best that they could. unfortunately our first room was up a flight of stairs without lift access, there was a step into bathroom. This was hard for disabled person having to use crutches to walk. Reception helped by moving us to the new part of the building with a lift on our 2nd night unfortunately the shower was over a bath no grab rails disabled person could not use. The room was very far away from the lift also difficult for a person with limited mobility. On discussion about concerns , we were offered a room with a shower but it meant there was only a double bed. I had requested twin rooms because I was travelling with an elderly parent.
The disable parking was not near the entry points also difficult for a person with Mobility issues.
Overall, it’s a nice place to stay but for a person with Mobility issues it may not be the right place to stay.
