Staff was inattentive, areas were no cleaned or prepared for our stay, lack of hospitality and horrible accommodation. Addressed concerns about the condition of the room and tgat it was not clean and the shower was unacceptable, was not offered anything for the inconvenience and was told that there was nothing they could do about the shower and was told that it is out of their control about the water conditions. Pool area did not have any lights on and the pool jets were not even on while guest with their children were in the area. I will not recommend this property to anyone, the lack of empathy, hospitality and accommodation was the worst I've experienced.

Dumpster

It’s hard to put all the things wrong into a review that anyone will read. To get to the point, this place is a dumpster fire floating down the river. Be warned: they do not provide room service of any kind. I stayed here for two weeks for a project and had to beg for toilet paper and take out my own trash. My deck was so rotted and falling apart that is unsafe. I told the lady at the front, and she said someone was “working on it”. After the railing fell off, I collected it downstairs, brought her the lumber, and wrote my room number on it. If ownership doesn’t train their employees to prioritize liabilities, they will certainly pay for it in the court room. This is a great place to stay if you want to file a lawsuit against this hotel.

The lakeview room was great. It is was spacious and provided enough room for me and my family. The morning front desk woman was very personable and flexible. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay outside of Chicago or for going to the dunes. The breakfast was very simple, pool area was big and hotel was clean.

Have stayed in this room before. Curtain in room has been needed to be replaced for over a year. Still hanging off rod at the end. People next door were up til 4 a.m. They should have a curfew of around midnight. Bed wasn't that comfortable but ok. Most hotels in that area have 12 p.m. checkout and theirs is 11 a.m. no compensation for Daylight Savings time. I feel they should have extended breakfast and checkout time to compensate the hour we lost.
