Nice big room, clean, staff were nice and helpful, quiet central but I'm afraid that's where the good points end!
The hotel was untidy, there are bits and pieces of unused/old furniture laying around.
The advertised gym is NON existent
The pool is absolutely filthy, I would rather bath in the canal next to the hotel
The pool area looks like its been used as a dumping ground for broken stuff
This really gets on my nerves, the owner has obviously tried to pass this place off as some sort of budget hotel with some nice features. HELLO, you failed, this is my 3rd time in Chiang Mai and everytime I go I see new boutique hotels and hostels popping up.....these guys are more central, cheaper, and done better. I pacifically chose this dump because of location, price, and that it had a gym and a pool, well there was no gym and the pool is an absolute disgrace, how dare you advertise these features and then offer what you offer!
My biggest tip for the owner is cross your street and have a look at the hotel opposite!!! They know how to do there job, you should take note, I for one will never be back to you and how many others will do the same?
And Hotels.com don't you have someone to check these places to see if they actually have the facilities they claim to offer?????
