The hotel was well maintained and the staff was extremely helpful throughout our entire stay. They scheduled tours, drivers, and gave some good dining recommendations. Definitely keep on the Chiang Mai hotel list! Nice area... easy to walk around, drink, eat, and explore old town from.

The property had very nice Thai architecture but was not kept up, but it still has a lot of beauty. Sloppy paint over beautiful stained wood. Fountains/doors not working. Loose toilet seats. Unclean shampoo/soap bottles. Limited TV channels. Staff kind and helpful. I would recommend staying, but they should take care of these things.

We LOVED our stay at The Pingviman! The room was clean and very spacious. The staff was eager to please. The property has a beautiful old world feel with all modern conveniences. We especially liked the pool. The location cant be beat.

The staff were friendly and welcoming and very attentive throughout the stay. The breakfast buffet was very good and fresh. The hotel pool was enjoyable in the heat and humidity and relaxing. We found it easy to walk around the and see the sights of old City and tuk tuks were easy to find if needed. Enjoyed our stay.

Did not meet the website expectations. Restaurant did not operate each evening. Breakfast was limited and often full of flies in the restaurant. Rooms were old and not cleaned throughly each day. Main door to each room was locked by a padlock! Free shuttle was a very dirty small car, that looked as though it had never been cleaned.

This hotel is like a beautiful Thai oasis in the middle of the city. Beautiful, traditional Thai decor with a delightful courtyard pool. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend to anyone.

Don't Book Here! We had to cancel our plans to Thailand due to COVID. All hotels and airlines were willing to work with us in some way or another except this hotel. They refused to help but gladly took our money. They wouldn't take any of our calls or calls from the Expedia rep that was doing his best to help us. I understand the current situation is not their fault but they way they handled the situation was not professional by any means. Severe lack of customer service.

A peaceful oasis in the old town of Changmai. Lovely pool, a very pleasant breakfast area and decent offerings. We had a large room with jetted tub and balcony for under $100usd a night including breakfast.

Traditional Thai style decor with a fantastic central courtyard with a pool and ponds filled with koi and cute tiny frogs. Very helpful and friendly staff. This is a small hotel so the concierge doesn’t arrive before 9 am to arrange tours, but was helpful when there. It is a short (10 minutes or less) walk to the magnificent Wat Phra Singh. Complimentary breakfast included Asian and western dishes, yogurt, and an omelet bar. Highly recommend!

A gem in the old city
This a real gem of a place to stay in the old city section of Chiang Mai. Nice breakfast in the morning, down the street from the night market, lots to do within walking distance and a really friendly staff. The rooms are oversized, clean, have spa tubs and are bug free. Spending time in the warm and beautiful pool is a treat at the end of a long day.
