Our stay was a good one, but there was plenty to say about the room. Although it was pretty and unique it had it's issues. There was no singular lighting for the bathroom area, meaning you couldn't just turn a light for the commode/shower area. There was no microwave in the room and the small refridgerator kept nothing cold - luke cold at best. we needed both for our very short stay. We missed the opportunity for daily cleaning as we were resting and getting ready for an evening event. We requested all new towels when we left, and were told that would happen, but alas when we returned to our room, no new towels. This was frustrating for us, although the front desk did accomodate, we had to go and get them. What was good was the interesting decor, the fun atmousphere and the relative quiet in our room when we slept. The bed was comfortable and the room was laid out nicely.

The first night we stayed there we checked in pretty late at 10 o’clock because they weren’t comfortable And a hotel down the street so we came to the aloft because I’ve been there before unfortunately there was ants in our room. The shower was so cold. There was no hot water and the phone is not working to call service all night the next day all they did was offer us 20% And all he wants to do is relax moving and moving replace place just nothing what’s going right

Conveniently Located

It was a nice hotel. The beds were not comfortable but rarely have I stayed in a hotel where they were. We were on the 4th floor and you have to go all the way down to the lobby to get a bag of ice. No one ever told us where breakfast was served and we never asked so I can’t comment on the food. We asked for a late check out and were told they could only extend for an hour. Anything over that and we would be charged for an extra night. My husband had just had surgery the day before. We had to be out of the hotel at 11:00 and his next appointment wasn’t until 3:30 so that was inconvenient. We liked the layout of the room. We were not a fan of the paper thin toilet paper. The hotel was only 10 minutes from the surgery center and there were plenty of places to eat. Meijer is minutes away which was convenient for picking up my husband’s prescriptions.

awful- the beds are the most uncomfortable beds i have ever slept on, the room was not cleaned well, towels old. I don’t think this is even a 3 star property. i would never stay here again
