The hotel was ok. The water in the bathroom barely runs hot. The shower head was in bad condition and the water was splashing everywhere. The toilet was so loud when flushed. It was actually hard to sleep. You can hear any time someone in the next room flushes a toilet. For the amount of money per night, It’s not worth it.

Beware of hidden fees tacked on at checkout

Beware of destination fees that are charged afterwards. There is little transparency in the full cost. They charge you these additional fees at checkout to cover things like WiFi and other perks. It’s incredibly deceiving.

Housekeeping lady kept knocking on my door

My only complaint would be the housekeeping lady kept knocking on my door every hour, starting at 7:57 am, 8:40-ish, and 10am. It made me think I stayed way past my checkout, so I woke up, packed, rushed to the front desk only to find out checkout was at noon. Frustrating because she kept disturbing my sleep and made me rush out of there.

I always love staying at the Ambassador Chicago. It’s the perfect blend of value for money while also maintaining a charming atmosphere! The staff is also extremely helpful and hospitable! Nice large bar too.
