Great for cheaper budget option (cheaper than downtown not necessarily cheap overall) as accessible location with local trader joes and dining nearby. However hotel itself run down and very basic and lots of homeless and dodgy characters around - not for lone travellers. Staff member would not allow my child to fill up his water bottle using the free water machine in the lobby. Great budget option if you want no frills and travelling in a group

Property is getting old. The Water in the shower doesn’t flush fast it accumulates in your feet one of my friends in different room has same problem Cleaning also disappointed I came back to the room at 4 pm and my room hasn’t been cleaned I called reception then the housekeeper came to my room with attitude I have to leave my room again to be cleaned

It was ok, but couple of improvement areas. Corridors smelled of weed, toilet flush wasn’t working, shower was leaking droplets. Staff was courteous and smiling. I would say for a basic stay it is fine, but don’t have any high hopes. Very conviniently located near restaurants, key tourist spots and metra station.

Cleanliness issues

On arrival the onsite valet parking was full. No help available with luggage and no space to park to unload. Nearest parking was several blocks away. Cockroach was found in bathroom when we arrived in our room on an upper floor. They had us bring our luggage downstairs to move us into another room that was on that same upper floor. lugged our luggage back up to the new room and immediately found stains/debris on the bed sheets. Room was loud and we could hear street noises and other hotel guests as they were in the room with us. Not a good experience.
