Staff weren't very friendly. The room was nice enough for the price, except for the fact that the shower kept leaking out onto the bathroom floor because there was no basin around the bottom of it. Speaking of the bathroom; the toilet paper was like sandpaper. It felt soft enough in my hands, but it literally drew blood when I actually used it. Very distressing, to say the least. The location is quite good. There are plenty of great places to go out and eat or get take away. It also, of course, sits right next to Grant Park for easy access. If nothing I mentioned is a deal breaker, I think it's worth staying here. But definitely bring your own toilet paper.

It was an ok property. The staff was great, very nice and welcoming. They gave us a voucher for breakfast to a restaurant that was near the building. We did not eat breakfast there but I thought that was a nice gesture. You can tell that the property is run down and needs some maintenance. Our room specifically wasn’t bad for a one night stay but the carpet at the entrance was soaked of water (not sure where that came from since it was like that when we entered the room.) the TV didn’t work but they sent maintenance up very quick to fix it for us. The bed and pillows were ok, nothing special. It was a convenient location which is why I rated it 4 stars instead of 3. It was walkable, and close to main tourist attractions (art gallery, Chicago bean, etc.). It’s about a 25 minute drive to midway airport with moderate traffic so that was a plus for us. I probably wouldn’t stay again unless it was for a quick one night stay.

The property was fine, but it contained no dining options. They ran out of coffee on a Saturday morning. The room was clean but the heating/cooling system was old and very difficult to regulate. It was either too cold or too hot.

The hotel is clean, quiet and well equipped. The room is a little worn (wall coverings and painted trim need freshening) but clean and presentable. Needs a more modern TV too. Bed very comfy and I slept well. I’d stay here again.

Ehhhh….
Super close to the conference I was attending so the hotel made sense. However, the AC kept shutting off. The pillows did not offer any neck support. Bring your own! Front desk were amazing people!
