Nasty hotel

This is not a place for a family. The hotel was messy & dirty. The room was dirty with wrappers stuck in the pull out bed. Seems it was never cleaned or washed sheets. Although staff was nice at the front desk it was not a clean & safe place to stay at.

Breakfast was generous and good. The property is a little out of the way. U need a car to get to any restaurants and stores. Staff service was sketchy. Asked for room to be made up directly to the chamber maid, but it was not done.The front desk appeared to be unmanned half the time.

The room was kinda dirty, visible smears on the light switches, spots on walls, paper under couch and a nasty dried up orange under one of the nightstands. We checked in on a Monday and did not have maid service the whole time and we checked out on a Saturday. I even called the front desk to inquire as to why they hadn't cleaned our room, didn't get an answer but was told we were put on the list for Friday. They didn't clean Friday either. The breakfast was mediocre at best.

The staff were very friendly and happy to answer any questions. While it is an older property they seem to be doing what they can to keep it up and make improvements. The temp reached zero overnight but I didn't feel it inside. The breakfast was good quality and well presented. They had plenty of parking. I would stay there again.
