The woman who checked me in waa great! But i was woken up by staff around 7:30AM doing work on the building as well as a house keeper another hour later tryint to get into my room when checkout wasnt for several hours. I also was woken up the night before by a fire alarm. All of this made me feel unsafe and i slept horribly while at this hotel

My one night stay was wonderful. Bruce at front desk was courteous and efficient. Only complaint was hair dryer did not work in room 205, could not even reset outlet it was plugged into - please have maintenance evaluate/repair it.

From the moment I pulled into the parking lot I was questioning my reason for reserving this place. It was close to my brother’s home and I thought it was the same hotel I stayed at 2 years earlier. I was really wrong. From the unsightly trash spilling out in the open dumpster in the parking lot, to the crack head smoking his cigarette outside and an ashtray that was over flowing, I began questioning myself. Someone puked and it wasn’t cleaned up well at the entrance to the place, and someone urinated in the corner against the wall. It smelled disgustingly gross. The guy in charge was friendly but rather scary looking. The keys he gave me didn’t open my room. I returned the keys and decided to leave. I think God was trying to tell me to get the heck out of dodge. I found a terrific hotel (Holiday Inn Express) that was in Hoffman Estates. I spent my two nights there and was so happy with my choice. I definitely will stay at the IGH Holiday Inn Express in Hoffman Estate

I stepped into a hole near the no parking warning sign at the entrance. It was in the evening as I was walking my dog before bedtime. I reported it to the woman at the counter along with a man who I assume was in maintenance. There is also a metal rod sticking out of the ground which if I landed on it could cause serious injury. I was told by both employees that the hole would be filled the next day. When I left three days later it still was not fixed. Thankfully I was not injured but you may not be so lucky the next time. You have a major lawsuit waiting to happen.
