This property is surrounded by trees and is hidden. Wonderful stay and not far from anything. Beds were great and the hot tub was divine! Would recommend this hotel when traveling in the area.

We had a nice stay, only for one night for a concert in Waukegan. Only issue was a large group outside in the parking lot that were very loud. This went on until after 2am. It appears they need security to walk the parking lot. We didn’t feel unsafe, I believe it was just a group from the hotel who wanted to keep their party going.

some the staff spoke broken english and was able to communicate they entered our room and shut the TV off. We do NOT appreciate anyone entering our room - the do not disturb sign was on the door handle. After they left (we were not in the room) the lock latch hooked and we were unable to enter -took them a good half hour to figure out how to open it when we got back to our room.

Overall, the hotel seemed clean. There was a really old couch and ottomans in our room that were disgusting. Stains all over them. They just looked old. I would not sit on them. Staff was ok, but weren't super friendly and I didn't really see them greet folks coming in or leaving. TV's could be upgraded to smart TV's, but that is just personal preference. Last, from someone with construction experience, you are going to have mold issues if you do not caulk in front of the tub and on either side of the door.

The hotel staff were not overly inviting. When spoken to, did not even look up from their screen. The room did not feel clean, primarily the engineered hardwood flooring. Possibly great if you have an animal, but reluctant when bare foot. Shower curtain was worn out. TV channel selection was limited. Breakfast offerings were reasonable, however if diet restricted, may be hardpressed to find a healthy choice, other than bananas.

Home away from home.

Need light bulb in lamp next to bed. TV remote was not working properly. We got it going after some effort. Nice room. Always our choice place to spend the night when visiting family.

Breakfast was by far the worse we have ever had …not sure if we just had a bad day with a temporary cooker not. Ended with on in taking family out for breakfast. Second Bed in room was directly below ac unit, your feet were freezing all night and it sounded like a rain storm from the noise of the AC unit all night long. With the hot tub, you could not turn on the unit or else the high chlorine would burn your eyes... staff was nice. We left 1/2 a day early on a two night stay. If you are looking for a cheap hotel to hunker down andthis is the one for you. If you’re looking for something a little bit nicer that is up to standards, don’t waste your time.
