Congress Plaza Hotel is a dump.
This place is a dump. The bathtub was rusty, uncomfortable beds and pillows. The staff is lazy, the bar tender didn’t even want to leave the bar to attend the rest of the lounge people eating. This place isn’t cheap and what its charge and how the place actually looks are two different things. Will never stay there again and the city of Chicago should close it down.

The staff especially the Bell people were super nice and always offering help and smiles! We loved the walk ability and ease of public transportation. There are several great restaurants close as well. Older historic buildings are harder to maintain.
