I checked in on a Thursday around 9:00 p.m. in November and was given room 239. When I arrived in the room, I noticed the noise from the adjacent highway but didn’t pay much attention to it at the time. I turned on the television and watched the end of Thursday Night Football. Then I took a shower and went to bed. And that’s when I really started to notice the traffic noise from the highway - which was so close to my room that I could have thrown a rock and hit one of the tractor-trailer rigs that was barreling by. At first I tried ear plugs, but they didn’t put a dent in the noise. At all. I finally had to put on my Sony noise canceling headphones. That worked but it meant that I had to try to sleep on my back all night and I’m usually a side sleeper. I was able to muster 5 hours of sleep. The road noise from the highway was unrelenting and went on all night. I’ve been a business traveler for over 40 years, and this was probably the noisiest room I’ve ever tried to sleep in. If you decide to book a room here insist that it’s not on the highway side of the hotel. Unless you don’t care whether you can sleep or not.

Fire alarm chaos!
Not a very good experience! The lack of employees customer service is off putting. Also, rooms are average not very clean. There was stains on the sofa and carpet. To top it off the fire alarm went off! It was about 630am - 645am everyone was going downstairs as it's obviously an emergency. We got the 1st floor and the employees were not really caring. They just shout and say nothing is happening "someone" burnt the toast! There were no apologies or really anyone caring about the situation. Would really consider a different hotel.

Wasn't super happy about the parking rate since the property closer to the airport actually has a lower daily rate. Our car mostly sat in the lot because we took the hotel shuttle to the blue line into town. Booking the shuttle into town was super easy, but calling to get a pickup was a little scary at night since the phone wasn't immediately answered. We didn't go to the casino next door, but that would have been fun. Drove down to the fashion outlets which were fun to see. Slightly noisy airplanes until later in the evening. Nice pool (3-5' depth). Wish there was a microwave in the room.
